•   A 44" tree spade dug root ball weighs approximately 700 lbs. and contains 3x the root mass of a comparable sized tree that is balled & burlapped.  A 90" tree spade dug root ball weighs 11,500 lbs.

•   A tree spade root ball contains more undisturbed roots.  This gives the tree a better chance of reestablishment and a faster growth rate than balled & burlapped trees after planting.
